Abstract
Even in the absence of overt kidney disease, albuminuria is increasingly recognized as a marker of systemic endothelial dysfunction and heightened cardiovascular risk. This prospective cohort study aimed to evaluate whether baseline urinary albumin-tocreatinine ratio (UACR) predicts subsequent incident cardiovascular outcomes among Egyptian adults with cardiovascular disease, regardless of diabetic status.
